He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Jan Kahle Dickson; and his nephews, Bradley Curtis McNeer, Shay Cassidy and Brian Weinberger. He is survived by: his father Roy Earl Dickson; his wife Mary Lou White; his sons, Matthew Roy (Carrie) and Brandon Michael; his granddaughters, Marleigh and Saylor Dickson of Chesapeake, OH; his siblings, Dean (Karen) of Huntington and Sue Ann Dickson (McNeer) of Richmond, VA; his sister-in-law Susie Weinberger; his nieces and nephews, Andy, Reagan, Connor McNeer, Ainsley, Ann Curtis McNeer, Reed McNeer, Kristen Cassidy, Andrew, Luke, Grant, Max, Caroline, Cassidy Zban, Alexandria Watts-Cassidy and Taylor Cassidy; and his pet Charlie.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Creekside Golf Course Restaurant (400 Royal Birkdale Dr, Lavalette, WV 25535).
