He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Damron and Peggy Ray Damron; his wife Kathleen; and his grandson Levi Staley. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Staley (Chuck) of Hurricane, WV, Kim Conway (Steve) of Huntington, WV and Beth Waugh (Jeff) of Raleigh, NC; and his caregivers, Carri, Brad and Amy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
