It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leanna Lee Artrip of Lavalette, West Virginia, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sharon Carter; her sister Paula Jean Carter; her grandparents, Paul and Eula Carter; and her father-in-law Larry Artrip.
She is survived by: her husband Christopher Artrip; her children, Jessy Hallam (Mike) of San Antonio, TX, Carrie Broce (Charles) of Huntington, WV, Taylor Thompson (Jason) of Lavalette, WV and Thomas Artrip (Kelsey Forth) of Lavalette, WV; and her grandchildren, Allysen Sparks, Trinity Leftwich, Aiden Broce, Lane Thompson, Wyatt Thompson, Myles Hallam and Arya Hallam.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
