He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pate Napier and Hazel Lois Napier; and his brothers, Patrick Napier, Thomas Napier and Daniel Napier.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Tackett (Seth) of Dayton, OH; his sister Judy Crum-McGuire of Lugoff, SC; and his grandchildren, Willow Tackett and Ezra Tackett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
