She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon P. Hayes and Mary G. Oldaker Hayes; and her husband Danny G. Ward. She is survived by: her son Danny Lee Ward of Buffalo; her close friend Phillip Newsome; and her sisters, Virginia "Sue" McDaniel (Wayne) of Leon, Wanda Weaver of Buffalo and Lola Jividen (Roger) of Buffalo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Raynes Funeral Home - Buffalo (20072 Charleston Rd, Buffalo, WV 25033). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
