He is survived by: his wife Wanda Shrewsbury Garretson; his children, Susan Carrico (Johnny), Donnie Ray Garretson and Bryan Joseph Garretson; his grandson Cole Ivan Garretson; and his siblings, Dr. Charles Garretson, Drema Farley and Gene Daniels (Linda).
