He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Snuffer and Clara Stevens Snuffer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Terry Snuffer; his daughter Janay Angela Snuffer; and his siblings, Thomas Snuffer (Anita) of Vass, NC, Robert Snuffer (Connie) of Cool Ridge, Wesley Snuffer (Teresa) of Beckley, Doug Snuffer (Sue) of Newark, OH, Evelyn Chatham of Thomasville, NC, Kevin Snuffer (Molly) of Rainelle, Wayne (Charla Terry), Greg (Judy Dunbar) and Sam (June Blaylock).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calfee Funeral Home (800 S Oakwood Ave, Beckley, WV 25801). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations of celebration honoring James' life may be made to the Beckley Dream Center or Bowers Hospice House.
