Carter Jr.; her daughter Renee Dianne Mays; her parents, Nimrod Morris and Evelyn Morris; her siblings, Lois Jean Brown and Frederick Douglas Morris; her granddaughters, Kathryn Brianna Pannell and Regina Michelle Allen Befort; and her brother-in-law William M. Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Reginald T. Carter (Freda) of Greensboro, NC, Rodger A. Carter (Vanessa) of Madison, NC, Ronald D. Carter (Wanda) of Ahoskie, NC, Richard A. Carter of Lester, WV, Regina D. Malloy of Madison, NC, Evelyn R. Carter of Lester, WV and Edna R. Steele (Albert) of Jamestown, NC.; her brother Nathaniel W. Morris of Philadelphia, PA; her son-in-law Jasper Mays of Madison, NC; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Imes (Erica), Kendra Carter-Chaney (Xavier), Whitney Sewell (Nathanael), Courtney Mays (Sherry), David Carter (Tanzania), Lasasha Carter, William Malloy, Brandon Davis, Kathryn Davis, Stephen Davis and Kevin Steele. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Heart of God Ministries (1703 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
