He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Friend and Hazel Friend (Boyer); his wife Martha Friend; and his son Raymond Friend. He is survived by: his sons, Norman and Bruce Friend; and his siblings, Walter'Ray' Friend (Pat) and June Ann Friend. He is also survived by five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
