As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ray Virden Hannah and Reverend Billy Cooper Shiley; and her siblings, Anna Marjorie "Marge" Starr, Walker "Bud" Hite Jr., Otha Harold "Jiggs" Hite and Linda Mae Gould.
She is survived by: her daughter Raye Guy; her sisters, Wanda Corder and Doris Long; and her grandchildren, Ashley Guy (Jean) and Margaret Guy (Shaun Curtis). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.
