He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Goodwin and Virginia Douglass Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Marie Raines Goodwin; his sons, Doug Goodwin (Leigh Ann) of Lewisburg, WV and Sean Goodwin (Stacey) of Alvon, WV; the mother of his children Janet Neathawk of Lewisburg, WV; his stepchildren, Jeff Faudree (Tanga) of New Market, VA, Lisa Arbogast (John) of Singer Glen, VA and Shelly Faudree of Lewisburg, WV; his grandchildren, S. J., Henry, Bryleigh, Ella Goodwin (Tyler) and Lilly Goodwin; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Faudree (Shakia), Jeremy Faudree (Brittney), Oslin Faudree (Emily), Brandon Arbogast (Hilary), J. D. Arbogast (Emilee) and Warren Dale Adkins (Holly); and his close friend Sadie.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Rhema Christian Center – 3584 Davis Stuart Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901 to help with ongoing community projects within the Greenbrier Valley.
