We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2023, at the age of 87, Iona Davis of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iona Davis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Sheppard and Madeline Larcey Hayes Howard; her stepparents, Edmond Howard and Polly Sheppard (Saniford Ray Davis); her sons, Christopher Davis, Saniford Ray Davis Jr. and Roy Marshall Dunbar; and her siblings, Rosalee Spencer (Lloyd), Viola Sheppard, John W. Sheppard Jr., Glen Sheppard and Calvin Howard (Alice).

She is survived by : her children, Hassel Jackson of Lewisburg, WV, Ina Quick of Lewisburg and Christy Vaughn; and her half-sisters, Janice Dunbar and Verna Sheppard. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
