He was predeceased by: his parent Dondal Lockhart; and his wife Peggy Lockhart. He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Lockhart Hardiman (Richard Hardiman), James Lockhart Jr. (Alexandria) and David White; his sister Brenda Clegg; his grandchildren, Eliza Hardiman, Angel Lockhart, James D. Lockhart and Waylon Alexander Lockhart; and his pet Fii.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Fairlea (9146 Seneca Trail, Lewisburg, WV 24970).
