She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gates and Ollie Mae Jackson Hoover; and her husband Charles Lee Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Charlena Johnson Moul (Robert) of Statesville, NC and Marilea Johnson Butcher (Matthew) of Renick; her grandchildren, Alex Moul and Emily Moul; her great grandchild Skylar Rayne of Statesville, NC; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Johnson Hunter (Kermit) of Rainelle and Jerry Johnson of Tampa, FL; her nieces, Christina Martin and Susan Simms; and her sister Nancy Duffee of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Salem Presbyterian Church at P.O. Box 71, Ronceverte, WV 24970 or to the Greenbrier County 4-H Leaders Association at P.O. Box 586, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
