Kay Hardesty Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Hardesty of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Manassa T. Moss (M. T.) and Nelverna Lawrence Moss; her significant other Ronald F. Hardesty; and her brother David Moss. She is survived by: her son Ronald F. Hardesty Jr. (Holly); and her grandchildren, Tyler Edmond (Mindy), Elizabeth Edmond, Christian Oster (Dakota), Sarah Edmond (Tanner), Ava Hardesty (Korin) and Ezra Hardesty. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Shuck Memorial Baptist Church Deacons Fund at 841 Washington Street West, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
