He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Doherty and Gertrude Doherty (Mahoney); and his sisters, Mary (Doherty) and Sullivan (Jeremiah). He is survived by: his wife Laurel Doherty (Donner); his daughter Angela Pautienus; his grandson Bryan W. Doherty (Kendra); his great grandchild Rosalie Doherty; his brother James G. Doherty (Kathy); and his brother-in-law Jeremiah F. Sullivan, Sr.. He is also survived by three nephews.
