With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue McDaniel (Lewisburg, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue McDaniel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gray and E. Helen Morgan Holliday; her husband John Robert "Johnny" McDaniel Sr.; and her siblings, Junior Holliday and June Armentrout.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Whitehead (Jimmy), John Robert McDaniel Jr. (Sonya), Johnny AdwellStepchildren, Roger (Wahoo), Greg McDaniel (Cathy), Jeff McDaniel (Jane) and Johnna Hanger (Scott); and her grandchildren, Jason McDaniel, Ray Ferguson, J. J. Whitehead, Jesse McDaniel, Claudia McDaniel, Jake Adwell, Conner McDaniel, Atlee Hanger, Katie Hanger, Jennifer Byers, Lisa Hansford, Stacie Boris, Bruce Adwell and Steve AdwellMany.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
