Willie J. Hylton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie J. Hylton (Lewisburg, West Virginia), born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Pauline Hylton and Willie Ivan Hylton; and his brothers, Franklin Fisher and James P. Fisher (J. P.). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hylton; his children, Sara Lewis (Ben) of Greensboro, NC., Stephen Wise (Candace) of Front Royal, VA. and Donnie Wise (Misha) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Ellie Wise, Elsie Wise and Jude Wise; his great grandchild Carter Lewis of St. Albans; his siblings, Polly Burns, Sue Martin and Donnie Fisher; and his pets, Penny and Luna.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Willie contributed to several committees and initiatives, including the Elks National Foundation, Hoop Shoot, and the Major Project Board.
