She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ellis and Carrie Lee Bowles; her husband Rupert Wayne Durst; and her daughter Patricia Ann Cobb. She is survived by: her son Guthrie "Jerry" Grant Bowles of Given, WV; and her grandchildren, Venessia Jividen (David) of Liberty, WV and Ralph Cobb Jr. (Lisa) of Hebron, KY. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (12848 Winfield Rd, Winfield, WV 25213). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
