He was predeceased by: his wife Tabitha Meade-Chippent; and his grandparents, James, Pauline Caldwell, Millard, Shirley Beavers and Marg Chippent.

He is survived by: his parents, Peggy (Allen Beavers) and Melvin (Ruby Caldwell); his siblings, Julie Hatfield of Madison Creek, James Caldwell (Samantha) of Parkersburg, WV and Allen Beavers II of Virginia; his son Zachary Chippent (Katie) of Neibert; his nephew Kaleb Caldwell (Ryan) of Lyburn, WV; his niece Jamie Swaffar (Jason) of Man, WV; Aaron Caldwell of Lyburn, WV and Selena Caldwell Haney of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to James Funeral Home to help with expenses.
