Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Marie Heston of Logan, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 67, on October 10, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Junior Heston and Glenda Mae Phillips Laska; and her siblings, Gloria Schultz of Sheffield Lake, OH and Criss Heston of Logan, WV.. She is survived by: her children, Zachary White (Tina) and Chelsea Wendt (Kevin) of Berkeley Springs, WV; her grandson Jackson; her stepfather Lewis "Alex" Laska of Fairmont, WV; her sister Nora Heston (Bob Bagby) of Raleigh, NC; her sister-in-law Dr. Lisa Haddox-Heston of Logan, WV.; and her pet Buddy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Marion County Senior Services Meals on Wheels program, honoring Janet's spirit.
