He is survived by: his wife Janet Burgess (Hensley); his sister Ruth Ogden (OH); his son Luther Carl Burgess Jr. (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Hannah Rachman (Stephen), Amiliah Bradley (Chance) and Camryn Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Troy Suggs and Noah Bradley.
