She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert S. Cox and Recie Snow Cox; her siblings, Elbert S. Cox Jr., William J. Cox (Ruth), Betty J. Maynard (Stanford) and Peggy McKinney (Allen); and her siblings' children, Byron Cox, Gerald Barr (Jerry), Marilyn Chichi Ghiz (Cox) and Elizabeth Susan Wells (Barr).
She is survived by: her nieces, Rebecca S. Ferguson (Tom) of Fort Worth, TX, Patricia D. Maynard of West Logan, WV, Janie Monroe (Barr) of Phoenix, AZ and Vicki Barr of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by numerous great nephews and great nieces, two great great nieces, and one great great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Akers-James Funeral Home (832 Old Logan Rd, Logan, WV 25601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
