It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Burns (Logan, West Virginia), who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McDonald and Ruth McDonald (Ray); her siblings, Athalee, Ray, Harold and Michael McDonald; the father of her children Stanford Burns; and her son-in-law Jim Stapleton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gleneeda Stapleton of Peach Creek and Alfreda Burns; her grandchildren, Edward Stapleton of Peach Creek and Wendy Roark (Russell) of Drums, PA; her great grandchildren, Larissa Roark and Miranda Roark; her siblings, Glenn McDonald of Crooked Creek and Betty Rose McDonald Taylor of Bedford, IN; and her cousin Linia Cooper of Bristol, TN.. She is also survived by 2 great-great-grandaughters and 1 great-great-grandson.
