She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Darrell and Billie Mae Aleshire; her grandparents, Walter, Ester Aleshire of Hewett, Hirman and Pearl Maynard of Clothier, WV.; her brother Darrell Aleshire Jr. of Danville, WV; her nephews, Derek Craddock of Lake, WV and Darrell Wayne Aleshire of Hopewell, VA.; and her husband Samuel Howard Battin.
She is survived by: her aunt Garnett Blackburn of Southgate, MI; her sisters, Dale Craddock Lake (Guerrant) and Dotty Bates; her nieces, Gretchen Ball and Heather Johnston of Hewett, WV; her nephew Michael Aleshire (Kelly) of Chapmanville, WV; her stepson Jeffrey Howard Battin (Mary); and her sister Emma Byrnside of Danville, WV. She is also survived by great nieces and a nephew.
