He is survived by: his children, Gary Wayne Edwards, Jr. (Shelby) of Rockwell and Felishia Maria Edwards of China Grove; his niece Alishia Pacion (Andrew) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Ellie" Hubbard, Dakota Deese and Graham Lyle Edwards; and his siblings, William Howard Edwards, Jr. (Joetta) of Elkview, Franklin Edwards of Clay County, WV, David Lee Arthur of Handley, WV and Lisa Edwards of Gastonia, NC..
