He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Wesley Jones and Gladys Mae Small Jones; his wife Phyllis Hanshew Jones; his son Charles "Buck" Jones; and his siblings, Eugene Jones, Bonnie Skaggs and Jane Stanley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Akers of Princeton, Sue White (Jim) of Hico and Sharon Spadaro (Ted) of Princeton; his brother Jim Jones of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Cindy, Brian, Crystal, Carla, Beverly, Lisa and Allison. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; extended family members and friends.
