She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Fitzgibbon and Sylvia Fitzgibbon (Gapinski); her husband Paul; and her sisters, Kathleen Fitzgibbon and Carol Fitzgibbon.
She is survived by: her son Brian Dempsey (Karen); her grandchildren, Ian, Olivia, Carson, Evelyn and Rosemary; her son Christopher Dempsey (Leah Michael); her grandchildren, Camden and Catherine of West Milford; her daughter Rebecca Barker; her grandchildren, Coleton and Emmi of Lost Creek; her daughter Deborah Long (Corleone); her grandchildren, Noel and Caroline; her daughters, Joanna Dempsey of Fairmont and Elizabeth Dempsey; her grandson Isaiah of Lost Creek; her siblings, Cindy Fitzgibbon and Tim Fitzgibbon; her siblings' children, Brynn and Jacob; her brother-in-law Pat Dempsey (Anne); her nieces, Ellen and Kate; and her sister-in-law Jean Marie Dempsey. She is also survived by her children as a stay-at-home mom.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Temple (9436 Cost Ave, Mt Clare, WV 26408). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
