She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman F. Cottrill Sr. and Tressie A. Williams Cottrill; her husbands, George D. Rogers Sr. and Charles H. Dye; her children, Martha Gore, Betty Vanmeter, Amy Rogers, George "Denny" Rogers and Jeff Dye; and her siblings, Douglas Cottrill, Thurman Cottrill Jr., Dewayne Cottrill, Lucille Cottrill (Thurmetta Cottrill Dye) and Irma White.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" Rogers (Sonja) of Lost Creek and Lana VanHorn (Robert); and her daughters-in-law, Deborah "Debbie" Rogers and Nancy Dye Storm. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
