She was predeceased by: her parents, Delpha Ellsworth Smith and Gertrude Zirkle Smith; her husband Ronald Douglas Markley; and her siblings, James, Leonard, Carol Smith, Virginia Cutright and Doris Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan M. Markley (Carla Poling) of Mabie and Rita L. Larson (Brian) of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Travis Michael Ramsey (Kristen) and Jordan Brice Findley (Catherine); and her sister Janice Markley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
