He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cyril Jones and Orpha Mae Davis Jones; his in-laws, Warren and Mary Lou Heinzman; his sister Mary Ann Curry; his granddaughter Hannah Jones; his brother-in-law Doyle Heinzman; and his sibling's children, Alicia Jones, Megan Custer, Bill Henery, Jack Henery and Mike Curry.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Heinzman; his children, Jeanne Rockwell (John Isner) of Kerens, Richard "Chip" Jones of Mabie and James Jones of Mabie; his grandchildren, Jacob Jones of Grafton, Abby Liggett (Jeremy) of Mabie, Ariel Jones (Kaci) of Philippi and James Jones II of Mabie; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Liggett, Jaxon Lanham, Alayna Jones, Rylee Jo Liggett and Hadlee Liggett; his brother Raymond "Junior" Jones (Susan) of Mt. Perry; his sibling's children, Mary K. Patterson (John), Angie Custer (Dave), Rae Jean Pollock (Dave), Tracy Chaney (Mark), Kirt Jones (Sue), Bob Henery, Donnie Curry (Karen) and Dan Curry (Amber); James Heinzman (Linda) of Stuart, Florida..
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services (158 Meadow Ln, Valley Bend, WV 26293). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
