He is survived by: his wife Sandra Billings Sanders; his children, Clifton Sanders (Judy) of Madison, WV, Darrell Sanders, Il Madison (Lee) and Tina Johnson (Michael) of Julian, WV.; his brothers, Jimmie (Marylin), Bill Sanders Charleston (Jean), Eugene Charleston (Marcia) and Eugene Sanders (Marcia) of Charleston, WV.; his mother-in-law Lorene McClung of Madison, WV; his brother-in-law Larry Billings (Flo); his grandchildren, Clifton Sanders (Megan) of Mint Hill, NC, Kierstein Davis (Tommy) of Charleston, WV, Kasandra Harless (Travis), Breanna Sanders of Madison, WV, Alan Johnson of Julian, WV and Kyleigh Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Elliot, Elijah Harless of Julian, WV, Sadie, Tate Sanders of Mint Hill, NC and Breanna Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Danville Memorial Park (321 Jessie Ln, Turtle Creek, WV 25203).
