He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Frederick Goeres and Harriet Halleen Goeres; his son Kevin Michael Goeres; and his in-laws, Richard and Kathleen Tobin.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Christopher (Lindy Nowak) of Valencia and Jason Michael (Jennifer Hoard) of Morgantown; his wife Sharon Ann Tobin Goeres of Dyersville; his son Ryan Goeres of Phoenix, Arizona; and his brothers, Ted Goeres (Junko) of Riverside and Nick Goeres of Irvine, California. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
