He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Arthur and Marguerite Blanche Charcandy (Hildreth); and his siblings, Arthur "Buck", Donald "Tom", Bernard "Jack", Ruby Gains, Phyllis Michael, Virginia Thompson (Peg), Betty Ball, Dottie McVey, Janet McCormick, Gloria Burger (Kitten) and Effie Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Baisden Charcandy; his children, Tiger Charcandy, Timothy Charcandy and Tammy Pennington; his stepchildren, Megan Worthley and David Baisden; his sisters, Lana Charcandy (Angie) and Judy Norvell; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Charcandy and Peggy Charcandy. He is also survived by many grandkids and great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Handley Funeral Home- Danville (439 Phipps Ave, Danville, WV 25053). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Boone Memorial Park (38°03'24. 8"N W, 8149 LA-34, Madison, WV 25130).
