He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Cletis and Patty Maynard; and his grandparents, Forrest, Zona Pridemore, John Russell and Lena Mae Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Maynard of Mallory; his children, Chapmanville, Lisa Elaine Casteen, James Kevin Maynard and Cletis Daniel Maynard III; his stepdaughter Amy McGuire; his stepgranddaughter Hannah Rose "Rosebud" McGuire of Mallory; and his siblings, Scottie Maynard, Robinette, Sandra Western and Greenvalley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (169 Forest Lawn Cemetery Rd, Pecks Mill, WV 25547). The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
