He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hatfield and Edna Hatfield; his brother Marty Hatfield; his mother-in-law Betty Lou Johnston-Evans; and his brother-in-law Ricky Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hatfield; his children, Shana Vance (Brad) of Harts and Gary Hatfield (Mandy) of Plant City, Florida; his grandchildren, Blake Vance, Ethan Pansera, Jaxon Vance, Ledger Vance, Ian Hatfield, Eli Hatfield, Paige and Jaden Vance; his brother Billy Joe Hatfield of Mallory; and his nephews, Marty Ray Hatfield of Gilbert and Adam Hatfield of Gilbert. He is also survived by other relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church (1732 Accoville Hollow Rd, Accoville, WV 25606). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
