He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William Moffatt and Ocie Josephine Bias; his wife Helen Moffatt; his daughters, Victoria Elaine Sanderson and Evelyn Josephine Moffatt; and his great grandchild Nadalee Rosanne Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick Barnett Moffatt (Bonnie) and Sheree Blackwell (Ronnie); his siblings, Elizabeth Moffatt Belill (Leo), Hoppie Moffatt (Amy Hinton) and Ann Moffatt Turchan; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Hurley, Grace Lawson and Shirley McClure; his grandchildren, Shelly Moffatt, Christy Sanderson Denton, Marc Sanderson II, Melony Caudle, Bobbie Jo Craig, Tylene McCulloch and Wesley McCullough; his close friends, Naomi Hatfield (Johnny), Tommy Miller and Tracy Grimmett Jr. (Frankie); and his caregiver Carolyn Grimmett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Davin Baptist Church.
