She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Edward Murphy of Man; her grandmothers, Bessie Hudson and Myrtice Washington; and her son-in-law Michael Scites. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Ann Wilkes Murphy of Man; her daughter Kristen Murphy Scites (Bert Ward) of Ranson; her brothers, Dorian Murphy (Sabrina Workman) of So and Chris Murphy of Man; her friend Dorinda "Lynn" Horton; and her brothers, Kevin Washington, Bert Ward, Orlando Washington and Joe Sharp. She is also survived by other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, Inc. (115 Market St, Man, WV 25635). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
