She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. "Bill" Porter and Dollie M. Hillberry Porter; her siblings, William Ray Porter (Pauline), Robert Harrison Porter (Wilma), Jack Porter, Mary Beth Anderson (Lee) and Sally Anne Gorbey (Bill); and her former husband Hoover Michael (Bill Carpenter).
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey H. Michael of Mannington and Jay P. Michael of Mannington; her granddaughter Jena Marie Michael of Morgantown; and her sister-in-law Eva Porter of Moundsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
