She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Thomas and Genevieve Scritchfield Thomas; her husband David Robert Gooden; her siblings, Ed Scritchfield (Jean), Ted Scritchfield and Phyliss Newbrough (Dan); her sister-in-law Judy Thomas; and her parents-in-law, William and Lennie Gooden.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Steve" Gooden (Lori) of Mannington, William "Bud" Gooden (Elizabeth) of Mannington and Thomas Overton (Ann) of Ohio; her grandchildren, Heather Gooden O'Dell (Tyler), Kiersten Gooden, Braxten Gooden, Jordan Overton (Brie) and Colton Overton (Destiny); her great grandchildren, Remington O'Dell, Ben Overton and Emory Overton; her brothers, Robert Thomas and Dave Thomas (Donna); and her sister-in-law Sharon McClure. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
