He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl O'Dell and Evelyn Ruth O'Dell (Garrett); his wife Rebecca Sue O'Dell (Taylor); his brother Warren O'Dell; and his grandson Hunter Duckworth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Dawn Coffman (Ricky Stevens) of Wyatt and Renee Stark (James) of Haywood; his grandchildren, Jonathan Coffman (Grace) of Shinnston, Justin Coffman (Jordyn Rowh) of Clarksburg and Carly Duckworth (Hale Keener) of Haywood; his great grandchild Ellayna Coffman of Clarksburg; and his sister Rebecca O'Dell of Shinnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
