He is survived by: his children, James Thomas Roupe III of Centerville and Melinda Lee Fouse Morgan (Ralph) of Mannington; his grandchildren, Joshua John Fouse, Dale Morgan Fouse, Amber Dawn Wise, Sarah Hannah Davis and Isaac James Roupe; and his sister Nettie Falbo of Mannington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
