He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Higgins and Helen Martin Higgins; and his siblings, Richard "Buck" Higgins, Jay Higgins, Barbara (Chester Overton), Rose Higgins and Roger "Moe" Higgins.
He is survived by: his sisters, June Overton of Charleston, WV, Wanda (Kenny Stevens) and Betty (Donald Stevens); and his nephew Argle Overton.
