He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Emerson and Doris Jean Sypolt (Gower); and his brother Brad Sypolt. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Sypolt; his children, Michael Stewart II of Montana Mines, Joshua Stewart (Abbey French) of Fairmont and Christina Michael (Chris) of Hundred; his grandchildren, Mikayla Stewart, Ashleigh Stewart, Tytus Stewart, Zek Stewart, Isaiah Michael, Jasper Michael and Hunter Michael; and his sisters, Pam Lambert of Mannington and Connie Sypolt of Fairmont. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
