He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Emerson and Doris Jean Sypolt (Gower); and his brother Brad Sypolt. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Sypolt; his children, Michael Stewart II of Montana Mines, Joshua Stewart (Abbey French) of Fairmont and Christina Michael (Chris) of Hundred; his grandchildren, Mikayla Stewart, Ashleigh Stewart, Tytus Stewart, Zek Stewart, Isaiah Michael, Jasper Michael and Hunter Michael; and his sisters, Pam Lambert of Mannington and Connie Sypolt of Fairmont. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (500 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (6505 Husky Hwy, Mannington, WV 26582).
