He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Watson and Maude Watson (Stevens); his siblings, Clara Belle, Betty LeCompte, Dorothy Corbin, Rose Terwilliger, Mary Kennedy, Emma Stanley and George Watson; and his grandson Colby Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Watson (Belch); his children, Randy Watson (Stacey), Roger Watson (Gina), Scott Watson (Elizabeth), Jennifer Watson and David Watson (Rose); his grandchildren, Alva Ashley, Matthew Watson (Charlie), Casie Strosnider (Daniel), Kayla Gregory (Joseph), Jereme Watson, Rachel Watson (Ian), Jennifer Greene (Alex), Spencer Scoles (Jenna), Andrew Hall (Taylor) and Tyler Hall (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Katie Ashley, Shaylyn Wolfe, Serayah Wolfe, Uriah Strosnider, Eden Strosnider, Cody Gregory, Anderson Watson and Nolan Watson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Masters Funeral Home (209 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM.
