She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sharp and Icie Mae McLaughlin Sharp; and her husband Phillip Wayne McCarty. She is survived by: her sons, Ricky L. Bennett and Daniel Wayne Bennett; her sister Goldie Castillo (Rudy) of Marlinton Five; her grandchildren, Richelle Ann McCarty, Roslynn Nichole McCarty of Richard, Allen McCarty II, Patrick Lynn Trainer and Arielle Danielle Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Caiden Scott Halterman, Kylie Nichole Halterman, Kiera Lynn Halterman, Kyler Lane Pritt, Layne Michael McCarty and Pat Vandevander.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, WV 24954). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
