With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Stevenson (Marmet, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beverly Ann Stevenson to pay them a last tribute.
Though Beverly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Stevenson; her parents, Norman Beverly Wright and Patricia Petry Wright Webb; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Wright. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Carpenter (Treavor Townsend) of George's Creek, Garnet Sowards (Victor) of Handley, John Robert Carpenter (Hannah) of Costa and Dale Stevenson (Becky) of Malden. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ronda Apostolic Church (80 Martesia St, Dry Branch, WV 25061).
