He was predeceased by: his parents, Arville Allen and Myrtle French Allen; and his siblings, Bill Allen, Larry Allen, Johnny Allen, Eugene Allen, Joy Stover, Louise Harris, Arlene Farley, Agnes White and Kitty Dingess.
He is survived by: his children, James Allen (Michelle) and Pamela Ferrell (George). He is also survived by his grandchildren; and many great‑grandchildren, along with dozens of nieces and nephews.
