It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Braxton Runion of Marmet, West Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Runion and Virginia Copley Runion; his close friend Joyce Burdette of Marmet; his daughter Katrina Cooper of Coopertown; his stepdaughters, Sarah Elizabeth of Marmet and Jamie Currey of Morgantown; his siblings, Joe "Red" Runion (Connie) of Marment, George "Porky" Runion of Hernshaw, Ray Runion (Becky) of Marmet, Donnie Runion (Ella) of Seth and Sissy Runion (Lisa Bowen) of Chesapeake; and his grandchildren, Jeann, Mishayla Ann, Leeland Wayne and Jonathan Braxton.
