He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dowton and Geneva Dunlap McNeely; and his siblings, Ernest, Earl, Clyde, Norman, Clarence, William McNeely, Brother Donald McNeely, Betty Burgess, Ruth Meadows, Annie Marie Selbe and Mary Frances Smith.
He is survived by: his significant other Jamie McNeely; his children, Anthony McNeely (Amanda) of Ohio, Zachary Travis (Connie) of West Union, Karen McNeely of Charleston and Cameron McNeely of Oceana; his grandchildren, Kaitlynne Booher (Dustin), Kaden Anderson (Haley) and Kordale Travis; his great grandchildren, Paislee and Westin Booher; his in-law Geneva McNeely of South Charleston, WV; and his mothers-in-law, Jean Heflin of West Union, WV, Merelene Kelley of Salem, WV, Renee' Lake (David) of Parkersburg, WV, Donna Heflin of New Milton, WV and Charlie (Stephanie) of Fairmont, WV.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leonard Johnson Funeral Home (8706 California Ave, Marmet, WV 25315).
